Christmas & New Year's 2026 Availability at Bullock Island | Private Island Holiday Escape

July 8, 2026

A few dates left. The festive season included. And more ways to get here than ever before.

A limited number of rooms and full island buyout dates remain available for the end of 2026, including the Christmas and New Year festive season. With BermudAir launching five brand new nonstop US routes to Belize from December 2026, and established carriers like American Airlines, United, Delta, Air Canada, and WestJet all flying to the country, getting here has never been more straightforward.

The end of the year has a way of arriving faster than anyone planned for.

If you have been thinking about Belize and specifically about what it feels like to step off a boat onto a private Caribbean island with your people around you and nothing on the agenda this is the moment to stop thinking and start packing. Bullock Island has a small window of end-of-year availability left, including the festive season, and once those dates go they go.

Here is everything you need to know.

What’s Still Available for End of 2026

Bullock Island currently has a limited number of rooms and full island buyout dates open for the final months of 2026, right through Christmas and into the New Year.

A five-night minimum stay applies over the festive holiday period. For the rest of the year the standard minimum is two nights. If you are thinking about the festive season specifically Christmas week, New Year’s Eve, or both, reaching out sooner rather than later is the move. Those dates are the ones that disappear first.

How You Can Book: Your Options at Bullock Island

There is no single way to do Bullock Island. The island works around you, not the other way around.

All-Inclusive Stay

The most popular choice. Every all inclusive booking covers full breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared by a private chef, local spirit drinks with full bar service, dedicated island staff, a complimentary 30-minute jet ski experience, and return boat transfers from Placencia. Nothing to budget for once you arrive. Just show up and let the island do the rest.

Individual rooms are available across the island’s six-bedroom villa, five beachfront cabanas, and a two-bedroom suite, each with direct access to clear, sargassum-free Caribbean water.

Full Island Buyout

For groups who want the whole place to themselves. Up to 28 guests, the entire five-acre island, completely exclusive. Every beach, every hammock, every sunset, just yours.

This is the choice for families ending the year together, corporate teams wanting a genuinely memorable offsite, and groups celebrating something worth celebrating. A private island for Christmas or New Year’s Eve is, it turns out, exactly as good as it sounds.

Customised Packages

Not every stay needs to look the same. If you have a specific occasion, a particular group dynamic, or a clear idea of what you want the stay to feel like, a birthday dinner on the beach, a spa itinerary, the island team will work with you to build around it.

Get in touch and tell the team what you have in mind. The starting point is always the conversation.

Getting Here: The Journey to Bullock Island

One of the questions that comes up most often is some version of: “I’d love to visit but how do I get there?”

Belize has always felt like somewhere you really have to want to go. But something has shifted heading into the end of 2026. The flights have arrived and from a growing number of places, getting to Belize City is now a single direct flight. From there, Bullock Island is a short domestic hop to Placencia and a boat transfer away.

Here is what the picture looks like depending on where you are coming from.

If You Are in Florida

BermudAir just announced on June 2, 2026  that it will launch five brand-new nonstop routes to Belize beginning this winter. For Florida travellers that means direct flights from Fort Lauderdale starting October 26, Orlando Sanford from December 21, and St. Petersburg/Tampa from December 20. No connections, no layovers, just a short flight across the water and you are in Belize City.

If you are in South Florida, you are roughly two hours from Belize City. The logistics that used to make this trip feel complicated have quietly disappeared.

“BermudAir announced on June 2, 2026, that it will launch five new nonstop flights from the United States to Belize beginning December 2026. The Bermuda-based premium leisure carrier will introduce service from Boston, Raleigh-Durham, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando Sanford, and St. Petersburg/Tampa, operating two to three times weekly through May 2, 2027.”

If You Are on the East Coast

From Boston, BermudAir’s new nonstop launches December 19, the first ever direct service between Boston and Belize. From Raleigh-Durham, BermudAir flies twice weekly from December 20, Thursdays and Sundays, through May 2027.

For New York travellers, the connection through Miami, Houston, or Atlanta remains the most reliable East Coast routing. American and Delta both run smooth connections, and the total journey is still very manageable.

“The new routes are a clear vote of confidence in Belize as a rising tourism destination, and a welcome boost for accessibility from the United States.”

If You Are in the American South or Midwest

American Airlines connects daily from Miami and Dallas-Fort Worth, with seasonal service from Charlotte. United Airlines flies year round from Houston and seasonally from Chicago, Denver, and Newark. Delta connects through Atlanta, covering the entire Southeast.

From any of these hubs, Belize City is a smooth, usually three hour flight. You can be on the island the same day you leave.

If You Are on the West Coast

Alaska Airlines is your most reliable West Coast option for end of year travel, with year round nonstop service from both Los Angeles and Seattle. United Airlines also operates a seasonal nonstop from San Francisco, though this route runs in the spring and summer season rather than over the winter period, so it is not the right option for end of year travel. Alaska’s year round service from LAX and SEA is the one to book.

If You Are Coming from Canada

WestJet is flying from Toronto and Calgary. Air Canada launched a brand new Montreal nonstop in December 2025, the first direct service between Montreal and Belize ever. For Canadian travellers, this winter is genuinely the most accessible Belize has ever been.

If You Are Coming from Europe

Air Canada’s Montreal route connects same-day to 23 European cities, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Rome, Dublin, Manchester, Vienna, and more. It is not a direct flight from Europe, but it is as close to one as Belize has ever had. Travellers connecting through Montreal from anywhere in Europe can now reach Belize City in a single travel day.

Once You Land in Belize City

From Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport, a short domestic flight with Tropic Air or Maya Island Air takes you to Placencia Airport (PLJ) in under an hour. From Placencia, your return boat transfer to Bullock Island is included in your booking. The whole journey from Belize City to the island dock takes around one hour.

What Awaits You on the Island

Beyond the flights and the booking options, here is what actually being on Bullock Island looks and feels like at the end of the year.

The water around it is clear year round, sargassum free, which matters more than ever in 2026 given how badly the seaweed has affected parts of the Belizean coast. Bullock Island’s offshore position, surrounding reef, and prevailing currents keep the water pristine regardless of the season.

What you will find on the island:

  • Beach club and sunset bar directly on the Caribbean
  • Private chef: three meals a day, fresh Belizean produce
  • Ocean-view pool overlooking the sea
  • Reggie’s basketball court: the actual one he plays on
  • Snorkeling and kayaking off the island in clear water
  • Jet ski on the open Caribbean (complimentary with every all-inclusive booking)
  • Axe throwing, pickleball, mini pitch
  • In-room spa treatments throughout your stay
  • Daycare facility for families with young children
